Captain's Log- Hurricanes and Hike
Well, we made it through Hurricane Earl, although we still have no power. For some reason only our small part of the island lost power since about 10 last night. Now onto Hurricane Fiona! Crazy cool lightening storms, high winds and rain! Josiah and I took the pups for a walk this morning and about blew off the side of the hill. People were probably laughing to themselves at those crazy white kids walking their dogs through a hurricane. THe rain drops were like small bb's with the wind. Good thing we're Oregonians and wear our light, northface and columbia raincoats!
